Ages 6-7

"Art Squad" is the name for the band of budding artists, whose program runs concurrent with our older students program. These six and seven year olds have their own group and group leaders and a set daily schedule. Designed as an introductory arts curriculum, the four daily classes will include art, drama, movement/ sports and swim lessons/free swim. The 6th period of the day will either be optional early pick-up or a low key time for outdoor play, story time, simple cooking, craft projects and board games. The Art Squad will attend Summer Arts Noontime Shows and join the older students for lunch. Art Squad will have their own performance on Arts Festival day. There will be a daily snack time with juice provided. Safety, self expression, nurturing young imaginations and summertime fun are all wrapped up into the Art Squad experience!
