Please be sure your letter specifically includes new class ideas and/or classes in the curriculum you are able to teach (see Sample Summer Schedule for reference). Your letter must detail your experience teaching or working with children.

Counselor-in-Training Program for 16–19 year olds

Students who are 16 years of age through freshman year in college are invited to apply to our CIT Program. Fully integrated into the Summer Arts staff, the CITS assist with some classes, co-teach others and third year CITs might teach a course on their own. The goal of the CIT Program is to assist the staff in classes and at the same time gain experience teaching in his or her area of interest. CITs are paid a modest stipend. Application deadline is February 24, 2012. Interviews will be held on Saturday, March 3, and Sunday, March 4, 2012.
