Toby Dewey, Director
Toby comes to Summer Arts at CSW from Charles River Creative Arts Program where he was director for 30 years. Toby also serves as Artistic Director of Urban Improv since its founding in 1992. He holds a BA in English from Beloit College and a MEd from Antioch College. An accomplished playwright, Dewey has published six musicals written for young people.
Tom Evans, Associate Director
Tom is the Dean of Faculty at CSW. He is an award-winning visual artist and has been an art teacher for 30 years. Tom served as Art Department Head and Assistant Director at Charles River Creative Arts Program for over 20 summers. Tom has a BA from Hamilton College and an MS and an MFA from Massachusetts College of Art and has written several musicals for young people.
Tina Johnson, Associate Director
Tina brings to Summer Arts at CSW decades of experience in this multi-arts model. She was Head of the Drama Dept. at Creative Arts at Park in Brookline, founder and director of Breakwater Creative Arts in Portland, Maine and administrative coordinator at Charles River Creative Arts Program in Dover. She holds a BA from Wellesley College and an MA in Performing Arts from Emerson College.
