Summer Arts at
The Cambridge School of Weston

Summer Arts at The Cambridge School of Weston is a 6 week multi-arts camp where students explore their creativity, express their individuality, and take artistic risks. Summer Arts offers classes in art, dance, drama, media, music, sports, writing, swimming, photography and textiles. Students create their own individualized schedules. Campers ages 6-15 are launched into a rich experience of shared learning and simply, have fun.

Season: June 27 - August 5 (6 weeks)

1st Session: June 27 - July 15 (3 weeks)

2nd Session: July 18 - August 5 (3 weeks)

Newsflash! Summer 2016 New Classes!

Summer Arts ‘16 curriculum and schedule are completed and you can go to “Program” to take a look. One of the big changes in the schedule this summer is that the Musical  - now Musical Theatre Troupe - will have performances both sessions so that anyone can participate. 

In addition there are exciting new classes in the following departments:

 

 Art – Art Mash-Up , Weaving Wonder, Art Books/Book Art

 Dance – Pop, Step & Break Dance, Hula Hoops and Fitness

Drama and Writing –Create a New Play! & Musical Theatre Troupe

Music – A Cappella, Music of the Wild

Textiles – Styling Stars

We will continue to offer many popular classes – Clay, Your Voice, Game On!, Planet Rock, Action Film Adventure, Gryphon Gazette, Dance Company, Culinary Arts, Hip Hop, Sculpture and Fashion Design to name a few. There are 65 class offerings and as always, everyone will have the opportunity to switch classes the first two days of each session.

 

We’re getting close, summer is coming  - there are only a few weeks left before the beginning of a wild and wonderful six weeks!
